Lars Perkins is a software entrepreneur, photographer, adventurer and pilot. He started Picasa, the company that created software of the same name, now part of Google. As a volunteer pilot for Remote Area Medical,he has frequently traveled to South America with supplies and medical staff. With fellow members from the Explorers Club he has traveled to the Himalaya and Patagonia.He lives in Southern California with wife Susan and their twin sons Adam and Patrick.
